Your best option for posting to GPSTC is motion mini
They are in stock on sunny coast via wind wanderers and not expensive
www.revolutionise.com.au/windwanderers/shop
Not sure what best device is for on water feedback but whatever you choose it won't be suitable for gpstc

and a mini Motion on your upper arm for posting to GPSTC.

Only other option is to make your own.
The boom mounted ones are brilliant, but there are a few hassles, getting them water proof.
The latest one I'm making has only 3 components, battery, lillygo display and GPS receiver.
No really tricky connections, and you can make a housing out of foam and fibreglass.
The hardest part is programing the Lillygo, but there is a detailed manual.
Just check out the "another DIY GPS" thread..

The display is big, easily readable on the water. Gives you all our divisions, even on the water feed back for alpha proximity, hour and NMs. on top of that it's highly accurate, far superior to the GW60.

here's my splash proof effort, just used grorilla tape to seal the display against the enclosure, and cover the charging and on/off ports.
So this is splash proof, and I wear it in an aquapack on my upper arm.

The WiFi is for downloading, config adjustment and firmware upgrade. But the SD card is accessible if needed.

Thanks guys , I'll get a mini motion My watch is getting iffy. Yes , I've cleaned the contacts. It's 3 years old now and well used. I believe that's a good life for these watches.

Plus 1. You can't post with it but it gives you an idea and is pretty accurate.
The larger LCD motion has on water accurate feedback that you can post.

Repaired GW60 after strap broke. Used at LG for the past 2 days. "Hang in there baby"

That broken strap is probably why they stopped making them. I saw posts for years about the strap breaking then it happened to me. And I wasn't even wearing it when it broke! I picked it up to put it on and it broke as I was doing that.
I contacted them about it and said if it was "silicone" it shouldn't have broken down. They said the material "oxidized".
I sent it in to have it "repaired" and they sure enough replaced the entire watch like I figured they would do. For a very reasonable amount too.
I would like to see them make a standalone non watch version of it.
if any of you have a broke or non working watch; contact them through their website about getting it fixed.
