Yep that's how you make big boards go fast, get them out of the water. You only need to just keep the fin wet

You don't need a speed board now Oldskool? Fly, what you have.

Its a great feeling. I get it on my SBUS147 but I don't/can't maintain it for long as i don't want to crash.
Flying on a small board like that is experienced less often

^^ Have had my AHD 149 n 54cm + fins on the fin. Stuck it a few times. Even had my Speed RB n 39cm flying the fin. The most level longest flight ive had. Close to 50m. Mostly it ends up with my 105kg going skyward as i lose control. Quickly followed by a huge body slam as im catapulted at the water bloody hard.
That vid is AWESOME. Love where he is just hanging on to it, his ass beneath the board as it is railing to the MAX. NOW THATS SAILIN!!!

I thought I could see the fin at the surface in some of the video, so how does the fin not spin out or is the fin still in the water.
