Some footage of the light wind day when Rexy and I had our Gopro's on, just different perspective. I know its been said before but really quite amazing to be sailing on glassy water and getting speeds over 30 knots. Such a sweet feeling to be in boardies and rashy, the sun getting low, you feel like you are out in the middle of nowhere and its nice and warm. Everyone was having a blast, hooting and waving. I know we do the GPSTC comp for results and to better ourselves but I reckon this was one of those days that makes you realise why windsurfing is the best sport on the planet.
Sailing into the sun was brilliant and I thought I might've been following the yellow brick road but then realised it was Rexy's arse as he mentioned something about the sun shining out of it???
Hope you enjoy and sorry again Snags

I was on a 112 and 7.8
Rexy on a 89 and 6.7
Mike on a 90 and 7.3
Bushy on a 90 and 7.0
Dave was on a 109 and 7.3

nice vid mate - looking forward to catching up with karl and seeing all his footage :)
doing 30 knots in 15 knots wind is so surreal.
try picking up some go pro anti fog strips for the camera so it doesnt fog up like it did at the end. can stuff any absorbant type paper around the side of camera will do this :)

Sweet video Larko. Makes 30 knots look a doddle.

What fin(s) were you guys using there?

Cheers.

Thanks Craig but it was salt on the camera casing. You know how salty that place is.
Wayno, on that gear I was using a 32 weedy. Usually I used a 25 down to a 19 on the windier days. Rexy had BP weedies, not sure of sizes.

Gidday Matt, here is a link to that days sail for the Roaches.

Nice vid Larko (nice gybing too )

On the 7.3, I was on a 20cm Delta Slalom or a 25cm FO weedy (cut down from a 28 for Lake Illawarra)
