I will give it a go, on nights then but ok all arvo.
Chris i sailed last tuesday with a 24 weedie no worries see team challenge for tracks.
looking good, lucky got the day off, gonna be a quick trip work the next day, just noticed it's on the 1st March we could stitch up march as well in one day
how's the foot Chirs ???
guessing good it you Plan to sail !
can't make it
last day of work before heading up to Burrum....
hope the forecast holds.
The foot is on the mend Dave - still got it bandaged, and will wear booties too this time (maybe even steel capped)!
I can't get out of my morning meeting, so probably won't be on the road till 10am, which means at Lake George by 2pm, on water by 2.30pm, sail till dark.
Trying to work out whether to stay the night in Beachport and sail again Friday or head back to Adelaide Thursday night?
Anyone else looking at sailing there Thursday + Friday other than Choco, Jimbob and myself?
Or is everyone keeping their team strategies quiet, and then they'll just appear?
Looking like you might have a couple of Geelong blow ins as well it doesn't look like friday is going to be any good, but thursday at this stage............nice

Chris.. take the disinfection stuff to help clean out the last cut.. just in case..
can't believe the water has lasted this long !!!!
Another question for Jimbob:
It's solid rain in Adelaide today and likely it is heading towards Beachport.
Can we still drive out on the lake bed? or should we launch from the spit?
Thanks mate.
Chris no rain here at all and none forcast but it is windy, actually we have had no rain this year.
if you get bogged no problem we will just tow you out. but to get bogged in your twincab you would have to be a sh!t driver.
you can still sail out from the spit actually you can walk out to the big clear patch with no weed and start quite easily it is onshore there though so a bit harder on a speed board where as from cockys is cross shore and just start with weed on do a couple bunny hops and you are away.
I sailed last night with a 5.0 and this arvo looks the same.
Spotty the lake is too low for any VIC sailors. HA HA,
but your answer is yes upwind of the weather atation is pretty crap now and the nm runs you where doing last time would be a no go, also past the islands through the gap is getting very shallow and is hard bottom there so dangerous as well.
All through the middle area is sweet and very flat though I was on a 24 weedie and wouldn't want to go much bigger.
Hamma and Rick will be out tonight and Carl tommorrow as well.
See you Thursday Chris.....
Good Luck team I am heading for warmer climate, some one has to keep Dave company. Glad the foot is OK Chris
If this rain keeps up the premiere Lake George might be ready by next thursday. It's only been about 15 years.
Just heard from Choc about some BIG numbers coming from the lake.
Get ready for a **load of PB's.
Would have loved to have been there knowing the potential of the place, the old brownie jar is empty at the moment
