Yep do it! looks like a good forecast but may change either way you will get a sail, did you bring some weed fins? going to need at least 45-50 deg rake if the water has dropped more.
Yes, I agree with Choco.
The forecasts for late in the week are quite uncertain at the moment, (models all disagree) but there is strong indications that there will be pretty good WNW to WSW winds. I am watching it closely for another possible trip.
And yes, you will need at least a 45 degree fin now. 50+ even better!!!!
I'm there from Friday morning for Dirtbike weekend in the dunes. But I'm packing the windsurf gear to sail each afternoon and all day Sunday.
The forecast is looking great.
Glad you had it on Dave!!!
Tricky says it didn't live up to the forecast though.
Had a nice sail with old salt today, but I'm sure he'll tell you all about it.
Yeah forecast looking great Andrew for round 2.
But can't make it this weekend. Everyone should get over there.
Mmmm need to look at the whole forcast it's the first polar low of the winter, top temp of 12 degrees if it gets near that with the wind chill, inch to inch half of rain as well, I'm on crap no energy night shift so I'm out, think you'll be lucky to see anyone around.
I haven't sailed after Easter for a few years now and this winter will be out as well.
Be back on the water when daylight savings comes back,
good luck Daffy.
The Lake is still giving, even at this late stage, missed a pB by mm. ?? A bit cool though. Worth the drive
