Looks like Steve got rid of the uphaul:

I have put this clip on to easily remove the uphaul when its windy. Yesterdays forecast was 20/30 knots so took it off before I went out. Wind dropped out for over an hour when I was out but luckily I was in waist deep water. Its a tricky call to use it or not depending on where you sail. Steve Allen reakons it effects the laminer flow over the luff sleeve. Effects it more in moderate wind than when its honking. Anyway I am not using it anymore for speed/GPS sailing. It must have worked by not having it yesterday Cheers for the comments guys, except from trolls

Hmm, I like your thinking, I'll wack on my uphaul when using bigger board in dicky wind but most times I'm too lazy and do get caught, the carabina's the go me thinks
Nice speeds! I see you own a 5.1 overdrive. In what kind of wind do you use that size? I'm looking for a sail below my 6.0 ncx. A 5.5 ncx seems too close. Perhaps a 5.6 overdrive has better top end? Or the 5.1 overdrive?
Thats my 16 year old sons 5.1. I used to have one but I got rid of it for 2 reasons. There were a few times I rigged the 5.1 and I should have been on 5.6. The other reason was I can hold onto a 5.6 in some pretty strong wind (maybe getting close to 40) then if its too windy for the 5.6 its time to go. The new sails these days make it easier to hold onto bigger sails in more wind.
Well spotted Steve. Thats Fergs ODR7 which he only bought recently. Might be a year before he sells it
