A fellow who recently joined our windsurf community had a brand new Neil Pryde VX Ltd 6.3m sail. When I first saw it I was raving how cool that was as that model when it came out kinda became the benchmark sail of it's time with the angled battens and stylish looks with the distinctive top batten.

Anyway he recently left the island for good and sent me a msg to check under my rack as he left it with me! How awesome is that! I still have a 5.2 Ltd and a 5.8 VX3 so feel it's time to dust off my classic 1997ish slalom boards and do a retro video!

My current Neil Pryde RS Racing 5.4 and 6.2 sails are out of action with broken batten tips so I'll not feel so bad to head out on the old gear. I still have the 430 CK75 mast along with the newer CK95 430 and 460 masts. I wonder what the GPS is going to say?

Awesome - look forward to the nostalgia report. I had the 7.3 vx ltd and then vx3. Fantastic sails!!

The VX3 was the best version. The VX2 has super thin material for the luff sleeve which the cams and anything else just wore through.

I also found an even older world cup 4.5m sail under my rack, might just have to take it for a spin as no idea whose it is!

I don't know what the GPS will say about it, but I recon the Scottydog will be feeling great!
