Incredible effort - that's the equivalent of doing 20knot hours for 20 hours straight.
No doubt Kato will be planning his next assault.

Next. Two of three GPSs stalled 
. I can't imagine sadness if all three could go broke and such effort wasted.

I wonder how many hours of daylight there were?
with I suspect a pretty decent twilight both sides of dusk and dawn. It is quite incredible to think someone can sail that distance in a 24 hour window.
Brian, we are over in Lake Garda at the moment and it is light for about 16 hours a day, seem some guys going out for a sail last night at 8.15 pm.
It's a bit early to judge a new distance record yet. Arnald De rosnay departed in the 80s and still hasn't gotten back so I think the record should be eternally his.
He started around 19h45 in the evening and sailed all night long if I remember correctly. He even sailed more then 24 hrs to be sure.
