Polyester-resin instead of epoxy-resin?
For me it looks like it is not a sandwichboard, just laminated core.
Looks more like a slalom board shape and size to me!! [}:)]
Very interested to hear how it works for you. Many of my very best boards were/are polyester. For bump and jump I consider it the very best option for comfort on rough water.
I see no disadvantage for speed either.
Only problem I had was that if I made them lighter and more dynamic they have limited life (heel compression and rocker warp etc.). Make them more durable and they get heavy and too stiff for best dynamics.
The big advantage: Sooooo much easier to shape, glass and finish and soooo much cheaper to build.
I thought you had a nice orange to red airbrush, was it was just the flash illuminating the transparent layup in the build phots? Is the blank actually painted solid red?
