Surprising to see so many waist harnesses.

What is surprising (to me anyway) is the outline of the nose of the board - at 1:08 into the clip

The Angulo Magnum,I guess thats his way of cutting down on nose surface area, forcing less air under the board so the nose will stay down at speed.

Good pick-up DavMen. Soon the mast track will be the front of the board

Yeah.... I though he was riding it backwards
.....a new type of board a 'freestyleslalom'

I hope we ain't heading down that road (extreme changes) again....

Slalom isn't anything like speed sailing! if you get a good start usually you win and there's corners in there as well
I use a seat harness but my hook height is pretty high maybe the newer sail designs allow for a higher hook becuase of their ease of handling?

Final was brilliant! Antoine wins it with a deft gybe and pure power on the second last leg. Finishes with some unseen crazy aerial.

Thanks for the vid Bonominator - Bjorn seemed to have the better of Antoine on that third last leg but then Antoine shadowed him and pulled away to then take CV-1 (Pardon my ignorance). Amazing how full on those guys sail.

BTW- is that Jesper Orth in the foreground at around 10secs?

To me, that looks like a resonable sized fin for the conditions!

That is awesome sailing from Josh don't think he has done alot of slalom plus he's using his own boards, super effort definelty going to be a force in the future.

These guys are flying along alright.....

Antoine's jump at the end looks to be around 20 meters long, you can make out his launch site about 10m before the finish boat where he left his spray divit.
