I was using my Unifiber 24 as Keith said. I highly rate these fins. Only time I hit the bottom was stalling the occasional gybe. And boy, do those fins gybe beautifully. They also hold on so well, like no other fin I've used... you can really push hard on them and consequently they go upwind great without even hinting of spinout. I'm not sure why more people don't have one in their kit. The smallest size is 22cm, which would be fine at Wollumbulla.

Is that fin the Lessacher design? I use the Lessacher LW Duo a lot and they are excellent! Not so sure about the one with the funny ribs/ridges on it though.

Hi Keef, I have a delta 19 already that I use in my Patrick 92 which is pretty good once powered up, but keen to try a maybe a 21 for the falcon as I have tried the 19 in it and was very ordinary even though I was sailing pretty much off my front foot. So I take then the water is quite fresh considering the lake is higher than the sea? Anyway if I see a good southerly coming and on days off will watch the forums and see if you have had enough rain for it to be sailable. Thanks.

Dean, I thought it was windier than it was (from the noise in the big gum trees around the rigging area), so rigged a 6m. I should've been using my 7.1m.

Thanks Nigel. Its hard to work out what the best fin is until you try them all personally.

Nice videos Jase, I rememer when these were posted way back. that jp fsw looks like a nice board.

Your music choices are good, Keith could improve on his choices. Also your clips don't have any naked men holding onto falcon speed boards

Dezza I had Omo booked in for the photo shoot but no show as he was getting a pedicure the music is called the generation gap not sure about jase's choice on his first vid it sounds a bit digital and corny ,I guess you put it down to about two generations

Keith, just a guess, I think I'm in the in-between generation of you and jase, I'm more likely to be playing that music from Jason's first vid REALLY LOUD on the way home after a good windsurf

Yeh, it's a Lessacher, with the ribs in it. I'm not sure how they work, but they do (for me anyway). Have you tried the lessacher? I'm not sure if it's a "fast" fin or not though (I've only just cracked 30knts x2 sec ), I'm really just saying that for a short fin they hold surprisingly well and point high. They've got a fair amount of surface area, and are much better than those crappy Flying Object Nitros I've been using, which I've just replaced with a BP Type R, but haven't tried yet. Hope they're a good fin for bay blasting... sorry I digress.

Maate, that's a great video. It does you proud.......shows off the lake really well and shows why you need a Keef or Craig fin or a Delta. I think we will have a crowded lake when everyone else cottons on.... beats the drive to Victoria or SA. Good work Keef!!
