rout out the existing box so the fin is 47deg, and re box, chop up some old glass what ever you have laying around, add some resin what ever you have (vinyl ester, or epoxy) i used vinyl ester, till it pools , wax up board or a fine layer of plastic, dump the chopped glass on the board and lower the fin on to the chop, put some blue painters tape on one side and down too the board, get your wheel and work the glass so the resin pools and packs down, get some more blue tape and stick it on the other side, again using the wheel over the tape get the shape , wait for it to gel when its still softish trim with a blade then sand, the fin is now a useable 47deg 17

sailquick baseically what i was trying to achieve here was to show you guys how to use a wheel,
the reason for the re box was the 15 speed has a 55 and could have been 60 deg rake, when running off the wind the fin was supa sensitive to back foot pressure (ask bushfire ) today was a test day for a few fins, it wasnt till the end of the day i decided to give the delta a test
nn/e 20 to 30knts ,from flat water to good size chop with some good bare aways with evo5.5, never at any time did i think this fin would let go, i never intended to use the fin in chop, before the rebox the fin was total suicide unless you had supa glassy water
i think i payed $240 , if i hadnt reboxed it i would have sold it to one of my mates for $170

Well done Keef. Pleased that it has worked. Next time you are at LI I'll have to take it for a quick squirt.
We were first cabs off the rank Gareth - got them from the UK when they were still at proto stage, hence the extra $$$

I don't think they will drop in price.

I think the Black project Weed Speed is a better fin much closer in feel to a standard speed fin and handles chop better the only advantage a Delta has is a shorter fin by about 6cm and one that will not stick out past the tail of the board. But I do not have the balls to sail in water that shallow.

legless we all know that if it wasn't for the custom guys we would be still sailing wally's, production and custom feed off each other , production will latch onto a custom idea and the custom will take it one step further, its like a bouncing ball
