Thumbs Up

Bought a seat harness yesterday, and maybe its a bad design or maybe I put it on wrong, but I could barely get into a squat position to stand up on the board to uphaul. Even picking up my board was difficult.

I borrowed a real old one from another sailor last week and I liked it, so thought I would purchase one. Never uphauled that session though.

Maybe it will loosen up, or maybe I just shouldn't ride my slalom gear when its marginal and uphauling is going to be frequent.

I had the same problem with my Severne Pod seat harness. I solved the problem by loosening the lower straps an inch to the hook bar which allowed the hook bar to rotate up a bit when squatting.

Thanks gonna try that. New harnesses these days do allow you to make the spreader bar very tight.
