Hi guys,

Any advise for windsurfing Callala Bay/Beach tomorrow? It looks like a pretty good SW shifting South.
What's the best spot for that direction and are there any good rigging/launching spots? Cheers, Ollie

What? I'm going to have company?
Callala Beach will have straight onshore small dumping waves getting up to about 2ft after an hour or so of strong breeze to launch through. If the wind turns SSE it is dead onshore.
When that happens and if it is a problem, go around to the Bay.
Launch spots are several along the beach. You can go from the end of Callala Beach road, or turn right and go about 400m up the road to the community hall. Both spots have toilets and showers and grass to rig on.
Callala Bay is sheltered from that wind, but you can rig north of the marina and walk/float the gear about 200m up the beach to get into the wind.
If you're foiling, beware of the reef at the creek mouth.
