Anyone know if Chinamans Beach (Middle Harbour) is any good in a South Easterly? I'm looking at it on Google Maps and it looks like it has potential to funnel through there. Also, in the Google Maps image the bottom looks shallow enough to prevent chop building up. How flat is it in a SE'r?

Nigel a few of us go off opposite Chinaman's at Clontraf in a SE. Looking at tomorrow myself. Best to sail on an ebb tide which is perfect tomorrow high water is at 1004 and ebbing till just after 4. It is flat in some areas and not so in others, with large powerboats putting up big wakes when exceeding the speed limit. Also they tend to just keep going and most of time are looking at the houses, the beach scenery, or someone's else boat scenery.
