Hi Guys, I'm moving to Wollongong shortly and I guess I'll be sailing at Lake Illawarra amongst other spots. I've heard it's not that good for North Easters? I've been sailing at lot at Sanctuary Point and Jervis Bay lately and wondered how Lake Illawarra compares?

thanks

Bad intel!
Lake Illawarra offers sensational NEs from 10 to 35 knots, stunning surroundings, can be a real wind magnet too when other nearby spots along the coast are too light
Fin or foil, sail or wing
Plus the Lake works in just about any wind direction, so it's a great option all year round
Weed and/or jellyfish can be annoying at times, but really active local crew will welcome you on board
