We are planning to rerun heat 4 of the gps series up on lake Mac this coming weekend. Location will be either coal point for nor'easter or Marmong if southerly. Preferably Saturday 18th but may be Sunday 19th depending on the forecast.
Pencil it into your calendar and keep fingers crossed for wind. Will make the final call on Thursday night.
Cheers

Hi everyone. Looks like we'll definitely get a southerly at some point over the weekend but forecasts have been all over the place.
At this stage we think Saturday afternoon at Marmong will be good, but aren't quite confident yet. We'd like to give it another 24 hrs for the forecast to settle down. So we'll make the final call tomorrow night - Friday @ 8pm. Sorry for the delay with making a call but we want to make sure we get some great conditions to close out the season with a bang.
Cheers
James, Byron and Murray.
The heaven can wait regatta is on tomorrow so you will have lake maquarie and Toronto yacht fleets coming around a mark somewhere off marmong. the mark could be up off caves or down as far as speers point and is usually a big yellow inflatable. Expect them at about 11-11.30 and again at 1-1.30 . It's quite a big course they set so you will run into them at coalie as well. Watch out for those yachties they will run over you and not even look at your wreckage.
if it's a south easterly Rathmines park is a good spot. big waves but good breeze. It has to be south east though. To much east or south in it and it's gusty.
sorry for the late notice I just found out like 5 minutes ago.
