Back by popular demand, we think!
Following a great Series last year where everything "Wind" hit it out at some great locations including Salamander Bay, Shingle Splitters Point, Belmont Bay and Myall Lakes we have compiled this seasons calendar with regulars with 2 new locations mixed in.
We hope to see all the regular faces, the expanding wingfoil fleet and anyone new to come along and have some great time on and off the water. Lets see if we can get some record fleets this season and crack the 30 (last years peak was 25 participants which was a great turn out).
This series is organised by Marmong Point Sailing Club and supported by our generous sponsor Dave from Kite and SUP / Foil Board Sports in Newcastle.
We are updating the registration page and you will be able to enter from 1st September.

The Series is focused on maximum time on the water and the least amount of stuffing around, no matter what kit you are on be it Wind Wing, Windsurf fin or Windsurf foil.
Races are a simple format and by attending and taking part your technique will improve, you will learn new skills and see if you really are fast! Across the fleet there is always someone to race and that's what these events are about, not to forget the social side as well.
We will post more details prior each event on Seabreeze and Marmongs Facebook page of times and specific locations, a minimum of 3 days prior.
Of particular note Heat 3 incorporating the State Titles at Myall Lakes over 3 days 29th, 30th November and 1st December. For those that haven't experienced sailing the Myall Lakes it's a must, not to mention the opportunity to have a great weekend away with plenty of sailing and racing.
Accommodation at Myall Shores is tight and limited, however there are multiple alternatives including Bulahdelah (14 min drive) or Hawks Nest (23 minutes) + short ferry ride. We hope to attract windsurfers and wingers from up and down the east coast (including QLD) to this event, so book it in and lets make windsurfing great again.
Anyone requiring additional information do not hesitate to contact Murray on 0429 875 355 or Kite and Sup Foil Board Sports 4954 2118.
This news has certainly made my day/month !!!
Hugest thanks to the organisers Byron, Murray and...

While you're there, it's a great time to renew your Marmong club membership, or join us for the first time.
Accommodation in town is tight due to a Rugby event on that weekend so book early.
Plenty of powered sites but no cabins. Oceanside Hotel still has rooms / units.
Only a couple of camp sites left now at Myall so get to it and book and be part of a fun relaxing weekend away with great people.
Looking good Mobs it is such a nice place to sail flat clean water and a bit of dolphin spotting thrown in.
Those were the days, only fins
Good to see you and Sue holding up the flag Dezza!
For WingFoil or WindWing or Winding riders Please note. after years of trying we still can't get
KA affiliation for these events, SO if you want to race as a WingFoil please also become a member of MPSC for WNSW insurance. You will get an AUS-1234 sail number for the year that covers racing globally ex USA.
Actually any of the Windsurfing Australia affiliated clubs are good to join, as listed at Windsurfing Clubs - WindsurfingNSW

No cabins when I tried to book. Plenty of powered site.
Looking forward to catching up with everybody for this series, old faces and new. Jimmys Beach will be awesome as per our exploratory Friday session last year, Lake Mac will deilver from all angles and Myall is the jewell! Looking forward to the Sydney leg after a long time without an event.
Looking forward to the weekend away! TBH my winter training hasn't been strong as I wanted but it's all for fun so who cares. It's a great place to work on my gybes. See you all soon!
Does anyone know the exact launch location for the Jimmy's Beach event. Is the caravan park close enough to carry your gear directly from the camp site?
We will be utilising the existing public car parking along the entrance road to the reflections caravan park, and using the main beach access from the park between the Beach and caravan park. There is likely to be some equipment cartage of 151.4m to the waters edge, from within the caravan park it could be a bit of a hike depending on site, it ain't Myall Shores set up unfortunately., maybe pack a trolley.
Wouldn't it be nice if Jimmy's looked like it did last Thursday
Or Friday
Looking forward to seeing a regatta here again and hope it goes well.

And how is it in a westery??.
Better than many places but wherever you sail in a westerly it's less consistent than a seabreese so wherever we are sailing hope for a nor'easter
Anyone coming up from sydney who could pick up 2 black uni joint tendons from WSS?
Beers or scotch up to you.
They sent clear 1's.

Location change for tomorrows racing
Not at Jimmys Beach
Now at White Tree camp ground at Myall Lakes approx 20 minutes north
This will provide a safer and better course area with cross shore wind.

So the upside down-back to front wind came to Jimmy's in spring for the racing, and the racers seemed to enjoy. Happy days.
Well done to the organisers and sailors. I had fun.
Here is a video link for the 2nd day at Myall Lake. It was nice to film from there.
