This weekend (6-7mar10) at Huskisson, Jervis Bay.
Formula, FE+ (use anything that gets you around a short course). even Slalom if it gets really windy...
10.30am skippers meeting. www.storm-riders.com.au
Anyone got a spare sofa, porch, shed, garage, back yard to assist a solo house trained 30 something male on sat night? Looking at coming down without the family as the non sailing weather is looking rather average.
given how much rope / tape & other fastening products are in the average windsurfers quiver i'm going to have to be careful who i share accommodation with next time. especially ones carrying paw paw ointment
15+ NE winds for both days...touch wood, but we could be in for 2 days of great racing...see you all there....some of us will be there Friday for a warm up session.
Saturday was sunny and windy, with perfect NE winds, 5 races completed.
Sunday was windy, 3 slalom races and 3 more course races.
Sean O'Brien AUS-120 completely dominated....
I'll get results etc up asap on www.storm-riders.com.au
Only one event left to complete the 2009-10 season at Hawks Nest...
Great weekend!
When the results are done, any chance of posting the current series standings as well, so we know who to direct the trash-talking to ahead of Hawks Nest!
cheers

C'mon James,
Its not like 4 points cover the first four positons in FE+. Or maybe it does ;-)
I believe Sean will post the results as soon as he gets a chance,

"went back onto the course through downwind gate and did the second lap with the big guys. Amazing to watch and massive effort. "
And it hurt...much respect to all those who compete two laps..i was spent by the end of the weekend...and I have 30 plus years on a certain hungarian grand master
JB - thanks for your eloquent explanation on SR forum - i will be now competing all slalom on formula kit - so dont get to close as control wasnt a strong point in Heat 7
