Hi guys, we have been travelling for a while now & about to hit NSW.
The weather has only just started to co-operate.
Had a few windsurfs & foils recently, now travelling East & heading up the Coast.
Currently at Lake Tyres in Vic but should be in NSW in the next week or so.

Are there any good spots we should stop at that would provide for sailing & Foiling.
We will go as far as Cairns so hoping to get some good conditions along the way.

Our season is just about over so it may be a bit hit and miss.
Budgewoi but if you are to get into the 'flats' you need delta type fins and it doesn't often get good wind.
Lake Macquarie if you don't mind chop. Very popular with windfoilers and wings. We generally get some sort of wind each week and there are plenty of launch sites so you can make the most of most wind directions.
I'm one of the few dinosaur windsurfers left.
The locals can probably fill you in on Jervis Bay area options or Illawarra.

You can always check out Broulee, which is before Batemans Bay. Great fun spot in NE at north beach, also same spot in decent southerly is fun. The NSW Wavesailing website has a great spot guide for NSW worth checking out.

If you get summer NE seabreeze conditions...Gerroa!

The location is a bit of a wind generator as there is a slight venturi effect with the hills of Kiama and Gerringong funnelling wind to the south. Additionally, the Shoalhaven delta to the south sucks in this wind.

Waves are pretty average but there is some down-the-line fun to be had.

There is a caravan park on the beach.
