Hi Foil Racers - the Sunday Funday if for anyone... Fin Foil Wing, from experts to novices - no prior racing experience necessary.
With thanks to a couple of responses to the volunteer thread, we have a green light for Sunday. The wind is forecast 12-16 knot NE with an incoming tide which should be perfect for flat water slalom racing between 2-5pm. Race briefing at 1pm at GRSC race office. Post race beers upstairs!

Parking Tip
Join the GRSC club socially for access to the parking area. $2.20.
Please make sure you have insurance.

For experienced racers, we are looking forward to some good action in perfect NE conditions.
For the inexperienced we will help you get the most out of the day, so bring your gear, a helmet and life jacket/impact vest (both mandatory for racing!). If you can you do 3 gybes in a row and count down from 60 then you can race! We will have numbered bibs so sail numbers are not necessary.
The plan is to run some Slalom races this weekend and course racing next weekend.
We have a few Volunteers this Sunday - THANK YOU!
But I need more help to make this work so please volunteer to help run the racers or bring a friend for next time!
Is anyone able to help out once a month on Sundays? Some days I need help on a boat raising flags or scoring sail numbers. Other days the finish line is at the club so you can sit in the pub with a lemonade and watch the finish line from the balcony.

Sunday Funday is on again SUNDAY 4/FEB/2024 at GRSC.

Volunteers welcome! Beach or Boat duties available. wave a flag, take names.... snap some photo's... if your parent/kids/partners are racing why not come down and help out.
Best to arrive and park about NOON. $2.20 club membership required to park onsite.

Last race about 5pm
GRSC restaurant has new chef, with an improved menu so come upstairs for dinner after racing!
