Hi, any recommened place for tmr? Anyone been to yarra bay before ? Any other places for tomorrow? I am an intermediate level windsurfer who like to sail close to shore.

Haven't sailed there, but have looked at it a few times on a SE, SW, W and it can get pretty choppy, but definitely looks sailable and I know people do windsurf there in those directions. If it's SW and you like B&J then Yarra Bay would be great, but I think you'd be better off on Foreshore Road if it's predominantly West and you want to GPS sail. Otherwise you could try Quibray Bay on the opposite side. There's some GPSTC tracks if you google it. I think I'll be going to Budgie tomorrow :)

Hey Nigel, would you be able to post a Google Maps pointer where exactly you launch and park in budgywoi? That would be super helpful. Also are weedfins required over there?

You need a delta fin, maybe a high rake weed fin would do now, not been there lately. You can launch from the park on Peel Street or drive all the way around to Buff point.

BenYip, you can go to foreshore, W will be good and SW will not be choppier than Yarra, and safer, only short runs.

Hi All, If it stays more to the west come to Primbee. Bring a weedie or a delta as well. If it swings more to the south, i.e. SSW them Wollumboula is the go. Again small weed fins or deltas. Or custom fins if you know who to talk to!!
See you out there!
