A couple approached me at Wellington Pt and told me they have a rig and want to find the owner so if you know of someone loosing their gear please contact me as I got the couples contact.
They only told me the sail attached was a Naish and the rest was pretty modern looking gear so you will need to identify it to claim it.
I would say the gear has blown in from the Islands or Point Halloran also it was covered with some algae so it could have been lost some time ago.
