No racing this weekend due to dropping forecast & poor tide.
We may call an unscheduled race next weekend 26th if a good forecast occurs.
Looking awesome for some racing tomorrow. Keen to test out some new kit but looking at the forecast I may get be on the bump and jump kit?

All good buddy, just hunker down and go hard on the 7.0.
What a cracker arvo of racing, most of the fleet powered on 7m's.
Big thanks to tribey for standing in last minute with the boat

Sure was, can't wait til the next one
How good was that. It's been 2 yrs between slalom drinks for me, and today was a reminder of how much fun it is. When the flag drops the bull**** stops! True racing, same water, same wind, no excuses just skill, and might I say brad, vando, Leo and fyfee have got some serious motor. Well done boys. Tribey was a legend for his boat duties, shame he ran out of pringles.
Yeah, echo all the praise. Another perfectly organised event which is much appreciated. Good to see such a good turnout and high level of sailing. Everyone is improving by the season. Let's hope we get a lot more days like that through the season. I imagine we are on again next Sunday given this was a sneaky one to take advantage of the northerly?
Great day, fabulous sailing. I love been powered up on a 7.0.
I'm so shagged I can bearly walk. I'll sleep well tonight
Thanks again Tribey for the boat.
Yes next race scheduled for next weekend to go ahead pending forecast, today was an ok tide so we decided to take advantage of the wind.
I have to agree that the fleet has certainly improved, I used to be able to catch up to mid fleet if started last lots like today, was harder for me to catch up & keep up (& i only dropped 3 gybes for the day!).
If the fleet keeps going like that we might have to look at 3 laps.
Would be great to see some more faces then we can split the starts & i'm proof that it doesn't matter how fast you are if you can't get going or do well at turns then you've got no chance of challenging the front of the fleet but those little battles you have with closest competitors are great fun anyway
It's not the whole fleet, but not bad. Might I suggest watching out for the little guy in the foreground. He was keen to try a race, but nerves got the better of him, so he practised his starts on his own. Would love some of the other dads, whose kids are now sailing to step up and bring them down so that the kids can sail together.
Dear Team,
Thanks for all the great mentions. Not a problem with the boat, I promise to bring more sailing specific music next time.
It gave me quite a tingle watching you lot all charge over the line on Sunday.
Time to spend up some cash at Boardcrazy and get me some weapons again.
Highlights for me are:
1. Leo arguing with his sail as he finished.
2. Jensey's glacial speed start procedure - captured on camera.
3. Daz finishing a race mid catapult, upside down still hooked in and planing.
4. Bailey getting some great start practice in.
Here is the view from the Start Boat.
Cool footage Tribey, it is a good way to highlight how good or bad your starts are though, some serious practice required by yours truly.

Awesome stuff Tribey and great fun racing. Thanks to everyone for a well organised event.
