Easter at Cootharaba - beginner winds

Beginner windsurfer weather at Elanda pt Cootharaba this Easter holidays

Great to see lots of families getting involved in the sport

Justin and his daughter

Peter and Josh from wind wanders were the pied pipers giving kids a go

Morgan and Anita improving

Jack getting his lovely wife Dalmea (??spelling) up and away

Des getting his sons out on the water

Andy from Hervey Bay getting his daughter well underway on the Starboard blowup and the graduating to the 120 Futura - fantastic progress :-)

Tim is here with his kids getting them going on the starboard rio and Ezzy sails

I'm a proud dad :-). My son and daughter have made progress.

Xena dragged away from iPhone/Instagram/5sos

Max working on the harness

Especially proud of my beautiful wife Jane. Having the courage to push on after a few tentative goes on peter's big start last holidays.

We picked up a cheapie early years Starboard start from gumtree and now 5 days in Jane is starting to sound obsessed with windsurfing.

From very tentative fearfull knee shaking start to getting upwind and 'beating' back and forth - well done Jane xxx!!!

Cheers Jeff

Awesome. Looking a bit like the "good ole days".

Nice work Jane. I saw your balance training on the Start without the rig before we left. I will try and get Shona onto the Go next time we are up there. She used to have a run on the Wally a few years back. I think Will might almost be big enough for the Kids Rig by next Summer too.

So cool to see so many boards there again, I have had plenty of holidays there when I couldn't see another board on the water.

Lucky that is a big lake, or we might have to put lanes in!!
