A few of the Board crazy boys ( and one Moreton Bay mob ring in) have headed to Sandy point to do some speed sailing. Since speed is the issue they though they would travel in style...................
Bastards
We should beat that deal easy by hijacking our Broadwater hydro plane.Maybe less style but much more convenient. We could get directly from Seaworld and land on the Sandy Point speed strip, since Board crazy guys still need few hours drive from Melbourne airport.
Love the Boardcrazy sticker on the side of the cockpit. Great work on the 42 Leo, 40+ is on my bucket list also but would have to dedicate myself a bit more to get there.
The following was posted on Facebook late this morning:
Peak Speeds:
Vando - 47.6kts
Brad - 45+kts
Leo - 43+kts
Steve - 41+kts
I hope the sticker is stuck to that jet! If it comes off it looks like it might go through the turbine jet!
getting quicker
Is that one of those "masturbaterometers" ?
Haha, that explains the 2 sec peak part anyway.

Wow. Congratulations guys. Well done.
So is 47plus and Australian Record?
No. I think it places Vando 3rd for Australian waters. Happy to be corrected.
Cheers
Marty
