It was a fun sail in a stranded gusty winter westerly, not my best day.

Don't worry/
I did catapult today and damaged board nose just at start up Westerly is soo gusty at GC

tomorrow is another day
we could try Spit again
I just glue the board nose anfd ready to go again

this was from the best gold coast westerly i ever had. thought might try again this arvo

was freeeezing at wello yesterday

enjoy Brett ill try for next year.
Dave yes it was shallow close to the bank, but you didn't need to get to close. as you can see i had more of an issue with the gusts .

Haircut when was that is looks good. I really enjoyed sailing the spit and i will do it again.

it must have been 2010?? the gear still looks new

today went from total crap for my first hour to awesome. from about 3pm it cranked non stop. it was still cranking when I finished packing and drove off nearly sunset. had about 10 endless full return runs along the bank to the train and back, each time thinking surely it's going to drop off soon, but it just kept on blowing.

once it gets just a touch of north to it, and probably as the day cools, it really improves alot

Yes today our westerly



wind was much more consistent that usual on GC.
