There is an old sailboard out the front of a neighbors house for the local council clean up. If anyone wants me to grab it for them let me know. It comes with a mast base and fin. It looked in OK condition apart form the foot straps that are stuffed. Location is Brisbane South. It did have a sticker saying "Kevlar" on it. If you say you want it, you must come collect it.
Fastest thing on the water in its day! A tad fragile..I remember a pile of bent ones near a skip at a regatta in the late 80s ( maybe the Moore Park event?). If it has lasted this long it may be a a product of some natural selection and be one of the stronger ones. Nice find.
Yep the old Waitata was pretty slick back in the day. A mate Just scored one in good condition. Ive even got a couple of era correct Wild Winds sails to match the board. Fun for a retro day....
