This place picks up a lot of wind from every direction.
I have a boat organised with two spare seats if anyone is interested.
I would prefer to go with a few experienced sailors.

This sand bar is one mile long and sits no more than one meter above the water at high tide.
It is surrounded by deep open water and there is a strong currents on the southern channel.
We will be sailing in the shallows but the boat will be on standby for rapid rescue if needed.
Ducati, you know I broke my last mast on sunday or are you just teasing me?
Mikey100, we are looking at going in November after uni exams finish.
I'll keep you updated, I still want to explore the option of getting a bigger boat.

It's about a 5 mile trip from the Urangan boat harbour.
During calm weather I taken my 13 foot tinny across there but
when it blows the swells make people on the large whale watching boats spew.
It's a popular spot for yachties to anchor up for a swim in summer or picnic in winter.

I borrowed a mast and sailed on the southern side of the boat harbour.
It was very fkn windy!
