Hi all,
Good Day!
I bought this sail 2 months ago and when I was rigging at second time, the top strap snapped ( down hauling).
This is a adjustable cap head type.
Can any one tell me where to repair it please and roughly cost?
Can I replace to the dead end / non adjustable head?

Cheers!

I dont have any recommendation regarding who can repair it or the cost.

My only thought is you might be able to find someone who could stitch the remaining webbing onto the outside of the mast pocket. However, that the strap is very strong bit of material = anything you repair it with, will also need to be equally strong.

It looks like an older sail - given the amount of remaining material and its age, it may fail again if it was repaired.

I had the same repair done a couple of weeks ago to a race sail by North Sails Brisbane, 1/264 tingal Road, Wynnum for $140.
They picked the top of the sail apart, replaced the top strap and re-stiched the sail. Great job

Thanks for your comments, Mathew!

Hi evilC, Clive? Thanks! If that cost I would give away to someone who is interested.
Let me check the Narangba one cost first.
