Hi All
Well the season is about to kick off, so make sure that you have re-joined the club . Forecast is looking favourable for some racing this weekend. The usual venue for south Easters is Manly but with the work on the harbour wall access is very limited, so the plan is to sail at Wynnum . I had a sail there in south Easter last weekend and it wasn’t too bad.
Next update and possible 'Notice of Race' will be issued after 3.15pm Friday.

New lycra tops arrived so get on line,, join the club and we will hand out the tops at the first race day
Whats the weed like in the bay? Will a weed fin be necessary for racing this weekend?-
very little weed on the last few sails
the jelly fish are on there way though
Yer saw them out the back at wello on Saturday
What if you are not a member of Bayside but a member of AWA? Is the entry fee higher but can still give it a go or only if you are a member of Bayside? Just wondering how to encourage more participants.
Cheers

Its the same with all clubs in qld and think even australia, if you are a member of an affiliated club to awa uou can race with any other club. But you dont get one of our fancy new tops but the cost is the same.
Notice of race is up on site
Forecast is a bit light but thought we will call it anyway ..
Hand out your new race tops
Hopefully race
And have club bbq
No racing this weekend due to poor forecast (we'd prefer to have good wind). Everyone should have received email, if not please let us know so we can update mailing list.
