Looks like the monsoon trough is firing up in the next few days
Its been real quiet all season. Early next week has a low on watch. Even of we don't get winds in seq the surf will be good
May be time to dust off your small gear in anticipation.
Might get to finally try beachies.
If it was windy enough for me to use a 4.2 , I'd be watching from the beach.
115 kg x 4.2 = way too much wind.
^ exactly Imax1. Spot X at GB could be worth a look late this arvo. Shallow water n smaller chop. 5m n 108litre ready to go.
Just had a look at Sandstone point to see if anyone was game .Nobody there , but I think I saw a seagull lay the same egg twice.
Yep it's blowin.
Adam and John have both been down there earlier Imax and they gave it a miss, I stayed at home with the cat and the coffee machine, tomorrow is hopefully looking a bit more "settled"
Sailed Thompson's south side, we were seeing 20-30 or so, ran a wave board with 4.2
few others there too
I gave my 3.8 a run this arvo at Wello. It felt about right/good enough most of the time.
A couple of others were out on 4.2s
models still pushing for lows forming early next week. hasn't got it turning into a cyclone yet but there are 2 different lows the ecmwf is looking at.
A couple of photos from lake weyba on Tuesday the yellow sail was 5m. It was to windy for me to do anything but be over powered.
