Hey crew - heading to sunny coast and then down to nth NSW in mid September via north East SA Desert (Strezlecki / Coongie lakes).
Is it worth throwing in a 105 freewave and a say a 5.7 and 5.0 for a bit of wave sailing or this a bit of a doldrum time and better off not traipsing it through the desert. only room for a prone, 1 waveboard or SUP
Thanks in advance
certainly is ! , you will be arriving in NE seabreeze season , as you go south they typically get stronger , you might want a 6.2- 6.4 etc here for the marginal days by the time you get to Coffs you will be on the 5.0!

Cheers JonesySail - sounds like the freewave will get the spot.

Hey Ruush, as Jonesy said you should be good to go in Sep for some NE seabreezes. Send me DM when you get up here if you want and be happy to show you a few of the local spots and have a bit of spare gear if we get some proper northerlies.
My September stats for the last ten years or so on Moreton Bay. In September the days are still quite short, so it's hard for me to get a sail after work. If you're on holiday you might do better. A quick glance showed plenty of 5.5m days in there, but some will be big gear days too.
