Been no wind up here and had a week off work so made the trip to Trial Bay at South West Rocks on the Mid North Coast of NSW. Had one quick windsurf with local Phil Bennett before a storm spoilt our fun. Still recommend this place to anyone heading down that way from beginner to expert. Just a fantastic place.
Here was my half hour on the water.

Sure is Bryn. You can camp very close to the water as you can see in the closing shot as they are caravans on the shore line. Launch spot is camping heaven with plenty of grass. You have to walk your gear out 20m in the water as there is wind shadow but after that it's awesome. Pretty big swell out in the middle and the video doesn't really show it. Nice spot if anyone is ever down there. There will be a report on Sowindy.com.au soon.
Here is the overlay from that day.
You will love it Kurt. If anyone is heading down there I suggest you contact PhilSWR for the local info. He's a top bloke and will always be out for a windsurf. If you need any more info see here: www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Windsurfing/New-South-Wales/Windsurfing-South-West-Rocks/

If you can Justin at some stage as it's more bump and jump than slalom for sure. You would have a ball.
Interesting choice Jason. I've never been to Burrum and it's on my to do list (just like LG). If you do head to SWR look up PhilSWR. Hope you enjoy it.
PS - You doing the next round of Freerace at Lake C

Great spot. Stopped for a short overnighter there once on way back from vic. Nearly opposite direction from wind in the vid. I.e . offshore and abit gusty but was still ok once out in the middle. Spent half a day just blasting over the bay back and forth. Great camp ground. Paradise really...Definitely on my list for another (longer) visit
