According to the designer, what are the differences with '19 model?
Did you scored using plats in or out. Mast base looks placed very forward in the mast track.

Cant comment much on the 2019 as we did not have them but the dug out section has been modified which reflects in the overall volume.
I was after top performance product and these deliver straight out of the box. 2nd day on FMX today and 1st day on the 138 and it does it all.

Construction and finish are outstanding and all the details are available on their website:
www.fmxracing.com/#technology

The small important details are there with 4 screws per footstraps, no more twisting straps that can change your foot position overtime.

Compared to the Exocet that I have been using for some time and have delivered top results and speeds, these ride a lot higher (feels like you are foiling on a normal fin!) and acceleration is key. The Exocet feels more like a Freerace/Slalom compared to these that are pure 100% octane/racing pedigree.

Thx Remi.
In gpstc you write the 138 does it all especially when powered up. Could you please explain us better?
Finally, as Loft and S2 are different performers (steady power/lot of down force vs soft feeling/more lift), which one better fit the FMX?

We were probably more powered than wanted on 8.4/138 but the board behaved very nicely, even high on the fin it is predictable, easy to change direction, acceleration is impressive and top speed goes with it.

This is only an early feedback but all indicators are green.

As for the sail best matching the board, this is personal preference. Used the Loftsails on the 118 and S2 on the 138 and both work equally well.

I personally prefer the Loftsails more locked in/neutral backhand but on the larger sizes the super light feeling and extra power/resource of the S2 can give you an edge.

Hi Remi, you are a great jiber but with the FMX racing your alpha is quite slow; this is due the fact that FMX are more tecnical then Exocet or the reason is another?

This is indeed correct the Exocet is one of the easiest board to jybe, carrying full speed around the corner and very forgiving.

This being said the 24+ alpha is most certainly a PB for me on that size gear (138L FMX/8.4 combo):
