I wonder if this is a bit like the Starboard Ignite which I gather has a very "slalom" rocker?? Exciting concept if either/ both manufacturer has pulled this off albeit one in the Freeride/ freestyle mix and the other an FSW!
Wheres the air inside boards?
Spoke with Patrik today and AIRINSIDE are coming.
Sails appear to be a way off for the moment. Such a huge process to make a range of sails.
Saw a proto wave and looked solidly made. I'm not a wave sailor so rolled it back up.
The race sail is very plain and totally a proto. I might see them on the water on Wednesday if they decide to have a flat water session. Fingers crossed.
New boards in boxes so so no comment there. Brown cardboard.
You didn't hear anything from me1

my nxs board for the last 8 years or so is a freestyle board with slalom rocker.
i will never sell it. if only the ignite came in bigger sizes.
The QT - wave looks good, I like his overview of the shape design and his design philosophy on a one wave board, tuning with quad/thruster, the need to be fast and versatile
Are Patrik Boards made by Cobra ?, can anyone comment on the lay up for the wave boards ?, strength etc ?(same as fanatic / JP) ?
this is more up my alley...... i do have a 122 slalom ..,it does take some work
I have the 130 F-Race....fantastic board...so easy to sail and good in max conditions...always stable and reasonably fast.
I previously has a 122 X-F but the Patrik is a lot more forgiving for an average sailor like me. Highl;y recommend the F-Race.

I Have the 140 freerace. its a master piece in light wind ,took me a while to work out how to gybe it properly
but all good now .
Don't know if folks following this thread have seen but Patrik is clearing out lots of old stock boards which are up to and including 2019 models. Worth a peek at the Windsurfing Religion website for these. Colour schemes not as pretty as these 2020 boards though!

I also like the qt except the sort of winger / sudden drop of width in the tail...
Regarding construction I m pretty sure it s cobra judging by the serial number. I ve the tww83 in twin from 2014. It s on the heavy side but you Don t feel it on the water where it feels crisp if not stiff. It my light wind wave board:float n ride when waterstart is not possible, side on below 20 25knts and also high wind freestyle (75kg). It floats me like a 90l and plane as fast as a fsw. It looks to be pretty strong on impacts too. You can t find an easier wave board but you sure can find many boards more radical...
I guess the new jumping board is an evolution of this shape which was already an evolution of the F2 rebel which was an evolution of the F2 guerilla 2007.
I got a new one, looks brilliant, awaiting Ezzy lions to test it out, hopefully here this Wednesday. In the meantime just been wave sailing. Love this time of year with NE still around although light and tasty SW /S just starting to hit !!

I've been thinking about those F-Race to replace my Exocet, if I dont get another Exocet. What Patrik says in the videos makes 100% sense.
What size Lions are you getting? I've got 6.5 & 7.5 Lions, and cant decide whether I'd get the 110 or 120.
I'm sure you will let us know how you get on.

Debating myself if I need a "medium" wind slalom. Foil has taken away the need for a big slalom but a medium wind ... my venerable Exocet is really starting to feel flexy ... maybe.
At my weight (72Kg) that would be either the 95 Slalom (that comes also in Airinside!) or the 100 F-race ... although ... I used to have a Patrick slalom 100 and I was not too fond of it ...
95 Litre would be big enough for you duzzi ...I own a 92 v11 slalom as soon as its 18-19 knots ,I'm on it with a 7,0 .currently 93 kgs ,
i do own a 122 SL too .great construction on both ...
Getting 2020 Ezzy lions 6.5 and 7.5 m 2 cams. Should be a good size for the 120, with 36 and 40cm Patrik G10 fins. Still yet to use the board in anger, as the surf and Wavesailing has been pretty good for the last 2 weeks. No probs with self isolating here, as easy to get a wave or sail locally without to many around.
Im 88/90 kg working to get that down to 84ish, I'm hoping the 7.5/120/40 cm fin gets me blasting 12/14 knots, will let you know, sails hopefully turn up tomorrow ??
Very keen to see how you go.
I borrowed last year's FRace100 from Steve Stratfold here in WA and didn't want to give it back to him. I have the original Patrik slalom boards and they have been excellent and whilst the FRace gives away a bit in upwind speed for sure, off the wind and in choppy conditions, it's easily just as fast as the slaloms and maybe more so because its comfortable. Easily as quick as the other race boards around in certain conditions. Jumping back on the slaloms afterwards, you suddenly noticed the slapping and impact on the knees.
So I'm torn between replacing all the slaloms or going F Race only. I found the 100 fits beautifully between the slalom 94 and 110, however, it won't carry a 7.8m, which is unfortunate. So that means either getting a 110 FRace and 130 for the light days (or foil ). The slaloms seem to have a better size range but keen to whittle down quiver to 2 boards if possible.
Only 6.5 m lion turned up today, quick rig at home, looks beautiful, well made, can't wait to get it on the water with the F -Race 120 L, hopefully tomorrow ??
