HI EVERYONE , PICKED UP MY NEW BOARD THIS WEEK , THANKS JEZ AT SECOND WIND PERTH .
SOOO HAD MY FIRST SAIL YESTERDAY AT KURNELL IN 20 - 25 KNOTS WAS INCONSISTENT BREEZE WITH SPIKING GUSTS , SAIL 7.8
REFLEX 7. FIRST IMPRESSION IS THIS BOARD IS FAST LEFT THE BEACH AND INSTANT PLANNING BACK INTO THE STRAPS AND GONE......
BOARD TRIMMED UP SWEET AS, AND WENT UP WIND AND THROUGH THE CHOP EASILY WAS IMPRESSED WITH ITS EXPLOSIVE ACCELERATION THROUGH THE GUSTS . .... GYBING THIS THING IS WHAT WE ALL WANT WITH HEAPS OF CONTROL AND RESPONSIVE EXIT
SPEED . OFF THE WIND WAS REALLY AWESOME IT FEELS LIKE IT HAS LIMITLESS TOP END SPEED WITH SUPER CONTROL WAS A IMPRESSIVE FIRST SESSION.
Nice grass Mr B.A.Z.Z.R.R.D.
The board, yeah, it's too bloody fast.
I'm going to inject some mercury into the vent hole to slow you up a bit.
7.8 seems a big sail for that board and conditions. What size fin?
HEY THERE ...YES BUT IT WORKS FIN IS 37 SELECT NOTHING SPECIAL BUT WORKED WELL
A warning to everyone about the RRD V10 review by BAZZ 2231
(which means he goes 31knots in a 22knot NEer).
BAZZ would go fast if he attached a rig and fin to a DOOR!
(admittedly, a door does have zero tail rocker).
So you've got to ask yourself ......
is it BAZZ
OR
is it the RRD?
(probably a bit of both)
Looks like cobra had a few 2014 iS90's lying around the factory that Roberto got re-branded
Hei! Who has tried the RRD V10 (or earlier) 80L? At 70Kg that one (235 x 53) seems more in line for a high wind open ocean blaster!!!!
