I've had that boom (simmer black line 180-240) for the last 18 months and very happy with it. It has the tapered arms so thinner where you grip but thicker in the tail for stiffness. I use the boom for sails from 5.5 to 8.4
doesnt come with adjustable outhaul so you need to buy that separately.
The current 2019 Simmer 180-240 SX10 the replacement for the blackline the arms are straight not tapered. The Sx10 180-240 is a great boom.
2019 sx 10 great boom no drilled holes in the backend they are moulded and boom is really stiff...and no aeron product ....in 2019...
I got both the new 2019 SX10 180-240 and SX8 180-240 and used them on the water.
The boom arm is tapered on both booms, just to clear that up. (thicker in the tail section for better stiffness)
Great booms and very stiff.
Got a few to clear out if anyone is interested send me a pm for details . There's also a Chinook wave 150-200 and simmer slalom 180-240.
