Looking at the list of registered equipment at the PWA event in Ulsan, I can see that 3 starboard riders choose the 2016 IS134 and not the new 127/137. The rest of their boards are 2017 models.
Anyone have some info on why they choose this?

Looks to me most of the Top Starboard riders are on 90/107 and 127/137 all 2017 including current PWA champion
Matteo Iachino . I think you find that not all sailors can afford to upgrade there gear every year.

Cucchi (might be a board entry typo error), Diaz, Kiani are on 2016 134's. I don't think there's much to read into this tbh. Might have got there 137's to late to get dialled, fin selection for the new massive tail etc. a handful of other riders (Jap, Russ and Korean) still on the older 134, but I guess they are not on full sponsorship deals etc.

They just think the 134 is faster...

Its great to see how much Starboard are supporting the PWA slalom windsurf girls. It looks like half of them are on isonics...come on you other brands, get more girls in your teams

A few of those boards on the right must be Tandems.
