Thanks Ty - the Nuevo has changed my world!

Great to challenge myself against the elements and tough competition - very happy with my efforts. Learned a heap and keen to hit it again next year.

The whole week was a blast with awesome conditions, lots of exploring new spots and only one day off the water. I highly recommend others make the pilgrimage next year where ever it ends up as it is a great event, with a fun bunch of people also passionate about the sport.

I put the challenge up for SA wavesailors to have 10 representatives minimum next year to show up the other states???

Cheers to Chris Hale, despite being injured and made to endure watching cracking conditions without being able to sail, for helping out the Vicco guys with set-up and running of the event.

Nice stuff Kim well done.

Be great to go and support them but need at least 6 months + notice to book holidays - I'm probably not the only one.

Unfortunately the dates are always released too close to the events to arrange time off

Any word on next years dates or location?

MMM-always a possibility - a chance to relive my youth - maybe its time to book some leave for march - and start some breath holding and swim training

P.s - you get some photos or some of yourself from the comp - be good to see them

Check out the general forum, there are heaps on Facebook too.

Jodie from White Caps Photography is compiling her 4 days worth of photos and sending personal discs with photos. Don't expect anything too spectacular of me, but will show you when I receive it.

Well done Kym. Defiantly well deserved result. As "head judge" hahaha I can comfirm the conditions were not for the faint hearted and there were some waves and
Conditions that made Hawaii look marginal. Phillip Island should certainly be on every windsurfers and surfers list of places to visit. Ben severne won in the end with a extremely close heat with stu Martin. So happy I made the effort and it's definatly worth getting over for these sorts of weeks and weekends.

Go Team, Kym!! Big cheers!!

I used to surf a fair bit around Phillip Is 100 years ago - it can get really heavy => survival is always good, getting a comp place is bloody fantastic!

Cheers Terry - very tempting offer will have to think about that one!

Russ showed some interest in having a look at some photos of myself from the event.

So stoked!! - Thanks to Jodi AKA WHITE CAPS PHOTOGRAPHY I have received around 40 photos of myself wavesailing. In addition, Jodi provided a stack of other cracker photos from the event, a great momento of the trip. She is extremely talented - her photos are stunning and seriously considering having a couple of photos enlarged for the house. Here is a handful of mine from Sandy Point, Cat Bay and Woolamai.

At Cat Bay we had small waves and light wind, however, on the first Sunday I went out at Thistles just inside the point at Cat Bay at 3 to 4ft on the surf SUP, whilst out past the point was a solid 6ft - so great potential for this location as well for wavesailing.
