Nice pics , I'm envious.
Windsurfing for me in winter is so frustrating. Its is the busiest time at work, so it's very difficult to time a morning off with good wind (and I don't take sickies off to go sailing, it's irresponsible in my line of work to do that). I am 45min from Semaphore (my closest water). Hopefully, I move into northern beach area in the next 1-2 years once I sell my house here....
Is anybody looking for a tree change ?
It was pretty cool today Jay, enough wind to cruise around most of the day and fun waves all morning too.
It's hard to read forecasts this time of year,
Today's was for early wind, then dropping after lunch, but it held in for a few hours longer than expected
Nice pics Dave -
maybe a summer house at Nth Haven and a winter house at the Mid J.
if the metro forecast is 15-20 nthly ya be pretty unlucky not the get 20+ knts at the mid - if ya lucky there might even be a few little waves like today.
Be aware though most Nthlies fade late morn/early arvo I'd get on it by 930ish
At low tide the reefs can be unforgiving - someone was experiencing that at Seaford outer reef today - hope your feet aren't too sliced (not sure who it was)
Bstard rock at Three poles is always a good one to catch out the newbies - the crew were dodging it well today
Bastard Rock, is that the rock next to ***T Rock?
I have a few cuts on my feet from the reef today, must be my office feet again.... got a few nicks in a fin or two as well,
