This was a cool move 25 years ago. Why don't we see it any more? Should be a snack for you forward loop junkies?

My memory is that this move dished up a fair few broken collarbones and cracked ribs if you didn't make the full rotation and crashed onto your gear on the way down...

Was not aware of any more issue with a barrel roll compared to fowards or backies even sailing in a straight line can leave you with fractured ribs. Cheese rolls when mastered give you some time perched above your rig looking around at the crowd below.

I agree Eric, I've hurt myself doing backies, forwards and barrels.
You will have to get back on the windsurfing gear and show us all how to to them properly.

I reckon with enough height and speed one could come out of a cheese roll and straight into a forward loop?.................probably already conquered?

Here is the Cheesy into a back loop!

I got a new move tonight. I'm calling it the three handed jump. North Haven Geoff - did you see it? Somehow does not get the cred of the above though...

Cross shore winds are the Best. There is a bit of gear getting around Bondy getting me aroused. One day.

I dont think i put enough cheese in this roll. Almost ended up "Cheese on toast" instead. Your tips have been great Eric, definitely much harder when very onshore. Although nailed a good one two days before this. Will keep trying. Its a fun move and have felt the float/stall feeling now.

Very inspired after seeing Rushtons sick efforts again.
