Doesn't look good... round about the time Cape Willoughby hit 65kts on top of nearly 6 hours around 50kts... a bit less down at Cape Borda: a mere 47 kts!

Looks like the Cape du Couedic buoy broke last night as the swell hit average wave height of 5m. Max wave height over 8m.

To put that in perspective, the max wave height recorded on the East coast when they had that huge swell that washed away the foreshore a month or so ago was 6.1m.

The swell is forecast to go over (average wave height) 6m today and 7m tomorrow. That's 10m+ max wave height.
