Any you guys finally got ya new stuff yet???
Photos, reviews - seems pretty quiet on here..... Thought you'd all be frothin by now.
Yeh mate
I've got a whole qiver of blades now 3.7-5.3m, we just need some wind to really test them. I've now also got the problem of getting them off Vikki now as she's hooked after the long weekend at Beachport. There is something about getting 2km glassy flat runs on Lake Goerge to really get ya keen.
And only 5 weeks and three exams till we head west for a month!!! Yeh, not only for the windsurfing but to getting all the bloody exams out the way.
Hows yank land treating ya?
yeh rush, rode the new JP Quad 82L at seacliff in a gusty 20-30knots.
felt weird to start but got used to it and found it easier to handle then my old 70L.
Had a ball, if people are uming and aring, have a go on some at the onboard demo day at boggy coming soon.
They're diferent but will change your sailing.
hey russ, haven't you found coopers australian ale over there, they had it up in canada, red with a kangaroo on it. was so much better than drinking canadian trash.
Just checked the Seaford web cam from New York - its sunny windy and theres a few little waves - and no ones friggin sailing - where are you all - I wanna see some sails on the water - I am sooooo desperate for some water action that doesnt involve a shower
Checked seaford this morning to flat :-(.
Now at work and the latest observations are showing down south is good at 20 -30knots with some swell.
Heres hoping the SW kick in the arvo for Seacliff blast
Marty I sailed with Vicki of the spit she was going fantastic and followed me for a few runs right along the sand bar as well she was going along really well, Just put a bigger fin in for her next time and she will be flying,
Hi Jimbob
We had Vikki out at Bower road on the weekend where she was flying once again. She's finally hooked, the weekend down at Lake George was a blast for her, I can see some more trips down your way happening over summer, i'll let you know when we're coming so we can all catch up again.
Marty
Russ, we have had some great fun days sailing so far (the water is starting to finally warm up).
Marty's new Blades are the way to go...AWSOME!! We are still waiting on a 4.7 though! I can't wait to hopefully use the 3.7 in Gero next month!! Can't wait!!
I have upgraded my board so I now have an Evo for sail if you want something new!!????
See ya soon!
Vicki if only you were using a fly2!! Then you would be going 10 times faster!! I'm planning on using my new 3.6 in gero so let's hope it's windy!!!!
You guys will have a great time in Gero. First trip I have missed in years, a little pissed.
Below is a report from Tim.
OCT.- is shaping up as one of the best starts to the season in Geraldton in a long while. Back to back high pressure systems in the first week generated good wind, with the second system also delivering pumping swell. Sunset was all time with minimal crowds and happy faces all round.
Russ the wind and waves have been so **** your going to need atlesst a 120 to even get plaining. Having new gear sitting in the shed collecting dust is just killing me. Can't wait for sunsets by the look of those photos!!! Awesome Zubby.
Russ while your trudging your way threw international airports on sat were all going to be ripping up the mid!! It's going to be awesome!!! See u Sunday.
russ happy with my x3 pryde boom, both solid and quiet and very affordable cheers wheet.
nice sunsets eye candy there zubby, that kiter in the foreground of top picture is saying "#^%$ yeah" im sure
Looks windy again on the seaford cam and can't see a sail - where are ya dudes I want to see some windsurfing.
I can highly recommend Brooklyn Brewery Indian Pale ale - with 6.9% alcohol per stubby and as tasty as hell you gotta be a little careful how many ya have - Go the Rangers - Ice hockey in madison square gardens tonight - now that was fun
When I was in Manhattan, I had a great pizza from some tiny shop serving from a hole in a wall - cost $1.
But in 10 days in the US I never had a decent cup of coffee. You hanging out for a decent coffee Russell?
^^^ Haven't had a good coffee since San Francisco 2 weeks ago Richard - coffee shop in Union Square
All coffee is pre brewed and pretty ordinary - but the pizza is good
Looks like the new gear will be hitting the water today - graphs look good for the mid - hope its delayed 24 hors and we get a sail Sunday arvo after we get home - if I can be bothered that is
