This old dog is trying to learn a new trick on youtube.
Sorry to all, if it too boring , but some may find it interesting to show some but not all part of our deck lamination.

Thanks for sharing!
Any other vids of your board building would be sweet.
no need to give your secrets away if u dont want.

I gather after that you would do a full length CK layer or double bias carbon and whack her in the vac bag?

Filmed this video about 6 weeks ago on the coldest day of the year, 7 degrees, so no boardies or tank top !!
I am finished shaping the deck then turning the rails on Maris's new Hot Rod 89.
Don't want to give away too many of our board building secrets, but will let you in on one. Buy the best materails available regardless of cost, as it costs you more in the long run to skimp with cheaper/lower performing materials. All our materials we use (e.g. Hexcel SGlass and Carbon, and Corecell hard foam) have testdata sheets to back up their superior test performance to other materials. The marketing campaigns other use to introduce a new material as the latest and greatest for board building hides the real truth: 'It's cheaper then the last material we use'!

Here Maris's new Hot Rod board being Airbrushed. His brief was similar Stars as his last couple of boards but with a red outline and silver / grey / black centre.
