Further south was shoulder high with some head and over head swell later in the evening with 22-27 knots. I had priority on all waves lol

The brumby died so I get the fourby family car now. A bit dearer to run but lots nicer to drive.
Wife's car is little diesel jobby with roofies so the port fairy and robe trips are nice and cheap

Nah Pilly, was on a tight schedule.

The gate was left open and 3 scrubbers from out of town invaded. I know they had a camera clicking away.

Gusty and small. Didnt stay very long.

The Challengers are good on the sand. Hopefully see you somewhere in the SE before the seasons over.

Hey Bondage welcome to the unofficial OES board riders brigade. Drop me a PM if you are still chasing ideas or suggestions for finning out the Hot Rod. Awesome bit of kit you have scored yourself !

Thanks, I tried it out locally in onshore seabreeze about 25knots. Ran a pair of 14inch JP rears and some OES 6.5cm fronts that a mate lent me to try out. The board was absolutely sick, like riding a skateboard. Its definitely a different animal to my Fanatic 2012 81 quad. Im only 66kgs and it totally buried itself landing a couple of backloops which my Fanatic wouldnt normally do. Im guessing thats the shorter length. Also smacked a frontside off the lip and it just punched and lifted awesomely. It feels as lively as my 68 2011 JP quad which is amazing for an 83 litre board. I cant wait to try it out down the line in some waves.

Pete Ross is checking what he might have fin wise later next week otherwise im going to piece together some 14 Inch rears and 9 inch fronts.

Ill take some photos and write a review in about a month after i do my West Coast SA trip.

Ty - Sorry your post has been sidetracked.
