Had such a sick weekend. Friday comp at third ramp with challenging conditions with 2-3ft waves with slightly onshore light wind seen the big floaty gear get pulled out! 3 hours of sailing with plenty of awesome action on the water.
Saturday was a surfing and SUP day at beachport with conditions cleaning up nicley for the final with Cam Gillies ripping on a 7 4" Jp SUP.
Sunday was ALL TIME. We headed back to beachport to find perfect 15-20 knot cross off wind. We managed to find one of the cleanest and most solid beach breaks I have ever sailed and had the best ever waves I have had down that way. Full power bottom turning around surfers on perfect 3-4ft peelers!!!! I think I counted 5 Turns on one wave with James, Tom and Myself having all to our selves for a few hours! Could not believe how good it was.
Monday was sadly our last day and we had another awesome sail early in the morning at third ramp. It was windy with smaller waves and some awesome fun sailing for a few hours before the trip back.
In between all this water action was the usual awesome beer drinking antics and pub meals! Robe is such a awesome place and that coast seems to have so much potential in all different directions and swell. Cant describe how much fun Sunday was and we will certainly not forget that sail for a long time.
Photos and Video to come!!
