Could be a bit small with a one foot forecast - looks like we get the Freestyle comp that some were looking for at last!
Sounds good! Starboard tack jumping skills may be a bit rusty though..
Out of curiosity anyone sailed goolwa in a northerly? It's going o be 2-3ft there on Sunday.
Yipeee
Goolwa is good on a northerly, but down on the beach towards the mouth, this time of year watch the tides and beach
North Haven is no bells beach!
Ha ha, he doesn't want to ruin another sail in small waves like Friday....
On the mid, the swell has gone from nothing to maybe it will get there. Wind has gone from nothing to maybe. There are a few white caps around. NNE 8-12 with intermittant 1/2 ft sets
Good turn out today with 22 sailors hitting the water in trying condition

Quick update ... I dropped past at about midday and there were about 15 on the water ... looked about 15 knots near shore, but out a bit deeper it looked like about half the guys were planing. A few chest-height waves.
I came back at 2pm and had a quick sail for an hour .. no waves really (at least with my skills) .. but planing most of the time.
Heres a few pics from todays event, thanks Bert for the use of your BBQ (and cooking said BBQ as well)
It was great to see everyone on the water, in what looks like a great warm up for epic winds this week,
what a lovely day of sailing. Thanks everyone. Maybe catch some hailstones while you are sailing today...
Thanks to all involved in organising this gathering! Great photos Dave, and thanks for the sausages Bert. Probably learnt the most from watching the Open heat - how to milk some great moves from sometimes mediocre conditions.

Stay off the pissha ha
Add in my big cheers to all concerned in setting up and running the day => lotsafun! Too bad Huey didn't join in as whole-heartedly as the rest of us...
