Qik up date - Plenty of wind (25+) a few waves off the bombie and spot X sailed south of sheringa - getting the big double thumbs up from those that went exploring. Convoy heading out later this arvo to make the trek back - forecast looks good and a bit of swell still hanging around

Well Australia Day weekend has come & gone again. Good on Russ & Scotty for making the journey on a forecast that didn't look that great. For once the locals outnumbered the Adelaide crew with Tim,Danny,PK ,Marty,Burgey, Eric & myself flying the flag (& Kite) for the local team. The undoubted highlight of the weekend was the mission to a new spot , led by Bramfields own intrepid surf guide Tim (was a low carbon footprint job with the Landy running on last weeks fish & chip cooker oil). Pressure was on & he did not dissappoint with those who sailed it agreeing it is a similar setup to Coronation Beach. Now everyone is keen to get it on an ideal forecast.
Thanks to Simon from Dextersurf & Severne for flicking a some goodies our way to hand out Mon night.

Cheers again for Getting the show together Maxa Thanks to the sponsors for getting behind the event also. So far this weekend has lived up to it's expectations there are still places yet to be ridden maybe next year. Great images Russ. Unfortunately spent to much time on the water to capture much of the action. Here is a couple of the scenic shots of the area.

Realise this is a little late but be warned ...... the locals around Sheringa dont like sticky beaks...... their 'cash' crops are scattered around far and wide to distract the ariel spotting by mr plod.

Iam sort of in the area and have 'met' some of them before................................
