Hopefully, you'll never have to know this, but just in case, this is a pretty good article. The little vid on how to make a quick, life saving tourniquet is brilliant. Side Note.
Most amputation/partial attacks bleed out before they get to shore.As my mum (RN for 45 years) said..
If you lose your leg, reach down to where the warmth of you femoral artery is bleeding out and plug with your finger if you have to.
